Brooks Minor Ball :: Brooks Alberta Sports Photographer

Tonight was my last night doing Brooks Minor Ball photos in Brooks. I approached the Association a few months ago and ended up getting the bid for this seasons. I've had a blast "shooting" the ball players and seeing the excitement in the young players.

I'm a big believer in organized sports and how they help kids learn important life lessons like following rules, working hard, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

It's fun to watch the younger kids play and to see the look of joy on their faces as they run the bases or make a good play. You can tell the coaches are having fun too. They are constantly cheering for their players giving them pats on the back. Good coaches make a huge difference in kid's lives. I've had a few influential coaches over the years. Their examples and life lessons have helped shape who I am today. It's so important to have good role models.
